Pedals is a new cool cycle courier operation in our wee city. Look out for the guys zipping about town on their sweet cargo bikes, providing a great service and helping reduce traffic. It was a privilege to help Liam with the branding and design.
Floruit - land restoration project
An exciting new venture from Hugh Evans and partners. Their goal is to buy marginal farmland and grow it into eco-sanctuaries with some awesome other uses. They are working toward a progressive model of land stewardship. Right now they are developing a super site and experience in the hills above Pukerua Bay, north of Wellington.
Vision 20|20
In late 2020 I got to help with this great project named Vision 20|20. It’s about vision testing resources and learning for school students.
The dynamic team was made up of occupational therapists, an optometrist, product designers, and a whole big mob of teachers and intermediate school kids. The Vision 20|20 team asked me on board to help design some testing resources, and a logo, and to create some short animations.
Update: the project is a finalist won silver in the Best Design Awards, in the category Value of Design. Woop! Thanks to Machiko, Mary, Kelechi and Sarah and the rest of the team.
Fishing co-op food donations
A fast-n-friendly formula for the Port Chalmers Fishing Co-op to deliver some meal ideas, along with some of their kindly donated catch, to people in need around Dunedin.
